Senior reviewers convert employee review signal into final interpretation, reusable learning, and canon candidates.

Role

A senior reviewer is responsible for:
  • resolving ambiguous cases
  • reviewing escalated items
  • protecting label quality
  • identifying reusable Lucia lessons
  • preventing ontology drift
  • deciding whether a case is a canon candidate

Triage order

Review escalated cases in this order:
  1. trust-state or overclaiming issues
  2. safety, money, maintenance, or guest-impacting issues
  3. owner-overwhelm and emotional containment failures
  4. intent ambiguity
  5. canon candidates
  6. general quality concerns

Adjudication steps

For each adjudicated case:
  1. read the prompt
  2. read Lucia’s response
  3. inspect employee review answers
  4. read notes only as supporting context
  5. decide final meaning
  6. assign final labels when needed
  7. write a short adjudication reason
  8. mark canon candidate only when the lesson is reusable

Adjudication reason style

Use one or two sentences. Good:
The user needed orientation, not a broad capability summary. Final call: containment failure with correct general topic but wrong response shape.
Bad:
Needs work.

Senior reviewer rule

Do not over-adjudicate. Only turn cases into doctrine when the lesson is durable.
